Time 08:00 Jama Masjid

Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosque in world, offerspanoramic view of the entire old city. This mosque is finest example of pure Islamic architectural work of fifth mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Built in red sand stone and marble by team work of 5000 artisans, between 1644 and 1658 . The Jama masjid originally known as masjid-I-Jahan- Numastands at the center of Shahjahanbad,the erstwhile capital city of the Mughals.

Time 09:30 Delhi Heritage Walk

Fifth Mughal ruler Shah Jahan shifted capital from Agra to Delhi in 1639 in order to heighten his regime and fulfill his appetitefor new building plans, a new city was founded by the name of shahjahanabad, which we see today as old Delhi.

Rickshaw Ride on lanes of old Delhi

Time 12:00 Red Fort

Red Fort , previously known as ‘Qila-E-Mubarak’ made up of red sand stone. Red Fort was constructed by fifth Mughal king Shah Jahanbetween 1639 to 1648. This Fort was utilized not only for the residential purpose but also as capital of mughalempire till the regime of last mughal rulerBahadur Shah.This Fort was included in list of UNESCO for world heritage site in 2007.

Time 14:30 Humayun’s Tomb

This is the finely built tomb of second mughal king Humayun who died while disembarking stairs of his libraryis first example of mughal architectural design in India. Humayun’s Tomb was constructed by his first wife Bega Begum in 1565 who chosed persian architect Mirak Mirza as designer for this edifice.

Time 16:00 Qutab Minar

The second tallest minar in India, 73 meters high, an example of Indo-Islamic architecture design, constructed in 1192 by Qutab-Ud-Din Aibak. This is also a world heritage site surrounded by lush garden and each of its five storeys has unique designing pattern.

Time 17:00 India Gate

India gate, 42 meters high, was designed by Edwin Lutyens, in memory of the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the first world war.

President HOUSE

Rastrapati Bhawan, also known as ‘viceroy’s House’ , occupied by Governor – General of India until Independence.

PARLIAMENT HOUSE

The parliament house marks governance of world largest democracy, also known as temple of Indian democracy.

RAJ GHAT

Memorial of the Father of nation, Gandhi. His lost words “Hey Ram” is inscribed on his cenotaph.
